How to Apply Online

Step:1 - Registration:
The Candidate must Register using a Valid Unique Email - ID and Mobile Number. Once successfully registered, candidate will get a User Reference ID. This reference ID is must for all further communication.
Step:2 - Edit Profile:
Once Registered, the Candidate must fill all the details in the Edit Profile Form. Otherwise he/she will not be able to fill the SCERT Application Form.
You will need the following documents :
  • One Scanned Copy of Photograph
  • One Scanned Copy of Signature
  • One Scanned Copy of Caste Certificate (if applicable)

  • Resolution should be no more than 300dpi and file must be legible

N.B. Admit Card will not be generated if any discrepancy is detected in uploaded Photo and Signature .
Step:3 - Fill Application Form:
Once updated his/her profile, The Candidate will be able to Fill the SCERT Application Form.
You are required to provide the following details:
  • Qualification Details as per Eligibility Criteria
  • Only candidates with minimum 50% marks in Higher Secondary(+2 Stage)Examination or its Equivalent Examination are eligible to apply(5% relaxation for ST/SC/PwD candidates).
  • In case CGPA is applicable, the percentage has to be calculated accordingly.(For eg. in case of CBSE multiplication factor is 9.5. So, if anyone get 8.5 CGPA, percentage will be 8.5X9.5) Similarly in different board/university, percentage has to be calculated using proper multiplication factor relevant to that respective board/university
Step:4 - Finalize Application:
The Candidate need to Finalize his/her Application to be considered for the process. He/She can edit/correct the application form as many times as he/she wishes but must verify all the details before finalizing.
Once finalized, Candidate will not be able to edit his/her application form anymore.
N.B. Online Application and Finalization must be done as per scheduled Date and Time.
Step:5 - Make Payment:
  • Payment of the Application fee can only be made online using Credit/Debit Card, Netbanking through the Payment Gateway provided by us. No other mode of payment will be entertained.
  • Once paid, the amount will not be refunded.
  • If money is deducted once from candidates account but not updated in the online system, candidates are requested to wait for 48 hours before trying again.
N.B. Online Payment must be done as per scheduled Date.
Step:5 - Print Acknowledgment:
Once application is successfully submitted into the online system, Candidates will be able print the Application Acknowledgment. Candidates should print the Application Acknowledgment Page for his/her record and future references.
Step:6 - Document Verification:
Candidates need to bring original copy of all relevant documents (as given below) along with the Application Acknowledgment Page for physical verification process, to the nearest DIET/CTE/ Other Verification Centers(which will be notified later)
  • Madhyamik / Secondary Admit Card
  • Madhyamik / Secondary Mark Sheet
  • Higher Secondary (+2 Stage) Mark Sheet or Its Equivalent examination Mark Sheet
  • Permanent Resident of Tripura Certificate (PRTC)
  • SC/ ST/ PWD/ ESM Certificate(s), if applicable
N.B. Without physical verification of application, candidates will not be considered for Merit List preparation.
Step:7 - Allotment & Admission:
  • Once Seat Allotment is Published, Candidates will be able to view their allotment in their User Home.
  • Candidate need to accept their allotment to be able to make payment for their Admission Fee (Including Caution Deposit of Rs. 1000).
  • Once the payment is successful, Candidates will get Payment Receipt in their User Home. They must take a print out of this Receipt and visit the respective DIET/CTE where he/she has been allotted a seat.
  • At the DIET/CTE, the Principal of the Institution will Confirm the Candidate's Admission and give an Acknowledgment for Admission to the Candidate.
  • After Admission Confirmation, The Candidate shall be able to print a Course Registration Certificate for future use.
